Since, the initial problem there haven't been any and it has worked as expected. I have it in my hobby shop and it easily keeps with anything and everything I do. The plastic case around the Pump/Motor Assembly was cracked. Called Amazon and reported. They sent me a replacement on Sept 23. Was "Out for Delivery" on Sept 25 at 7:57 am. Today on Sept 26 it still hasnt been delivered. Called UPS. Got a politicians answer. How the Driver cant go home untill all packages are delivered. The box was busted on one side causing some of the content to spill outside (a tire and air filter). On top of that, FedEx delivered the box upside down, causing the discharge tube to bend, the air filter to separate from the pump, a busted pressure gauge and a bent handle bar. The FedEx people did not bother to collect a signature because they knew that anyone at home would have refused delivery of the unit in such a poor condition. So they just dropped (upside down) it and ran away.The kind people at Campbell Hausfeld will send me all the damaged parts at no cost to fix it. I replaced a 15 year old wheel barrow type CH with the same horsepower and CFM rating but only a 30 gallon tank. I need this capacity because I use lots of continuous duty tools like grinders, sanders and air chisels which require high CFM ratings. If your work involves intermittant use tools like nailers, air ratchets, inflators, etc you don't need this much compressor. One of the big reasons I chose this model is that it has a true cast iron pump body. Many others at this price range use aluminum with iron inserts which won't provide the same longevity. This baby will last!Other things I like about it are: smooth, quiet operation, well placed readable pressure guage, large 3/4" air outlet, handy sight window for oil level, smaller belt cage and easily accessable drain cock. very unreliable - not worth itBy G. SlippyI've had to repair this welder every time I've used it. I bought it in March 2006, and have used it maybe a dozen times. The welding wire constantly gets jammed and kinked inside the spiral feeder tube, requiring me to disassemble the feeder and the trigger handle. The design of the trigger handle is such that the finger switch wires get pinched between the handle halves. The final straw was when the spiral feeder tube got pulled into the wire bundle in a way that can no longer be repaired. At my Barn I have a Victor Journeyman which I have had for years, never any trouble. The torch came really fast, upon opening the box the attatchments were all over. The plastic box is not all that, but that is not what i am reviewing. The regulators feel solid there is no rattle the threads are correct, and first time hook up there were no leaks. Hoses are plenty long for use in home shop. The torch handle and cutting head feel real good in my hands. There are checkvalves and all the bells and whistle you would expect from a high dollar torch kit. For someone looking for a very good quality torch for the money.
